Seeds of Faith

Trons Fro Ministries
Seed of Faith Junior School was founded in 2014 by Jimmy and Veronica Ssembuusi, in Kyotera District, born not from a business plan, but from a personal conviction. Jimmy, a teacher of Physics and Mathematics who had overcome poverty to earn his own education, saw too many bright children written off simply because they were discouraged by STEM subjects or held back by circumstances beyond their control. Together, he and Veronica set out to build a school where every child, regardless of background, could discover their potential and be given a genuine chance to grow.
Over the past decade, Seed of Faith has nurtured countless young minds, offering a nurturing, hands-on learning environment that goes far beyond textbooks. But as the school grew, so did an understanding of what many of its students truly needed. For some day scholars, the single meal provided at school was the only reliable meal of their day; without it, they would return home to nothing. For others, orphaned or coming from families with no steady income, school was not just an education, it was a lifeline.

Today, Seed of Faith Junior School stands as more than a place of learning. It is a foundation of hope for vulnerable children in the community, combining quality education with practical support like school meals, so that no child has to choose between an empty stomach and a chance to learn. It was this very realization, that education alone wasn’t enough, that inspired the founding of Trons Fro Ministries International, extending the same mission of hope into health, agriculture, and community empowerment.
